Angel Reese and the Chicago Sky are back in action on Sunday in a tough road game against the league-best Minnesota Lynx. Chicago is looking to make it back-to-back wins after their 92-85 win over the Los Angeles Sparks in their last game, but it's going to be an undeniably challenging test for them against Napheesa Collier and Co.
Reese, however, received some big news before the game. This came in the form of the 23-year-old being named an All-Star reserve for a second consecutive year.
This development came behind Reese being the driving force for the Sky this season, with averages of 12.4 points, 12.6 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 1.8 steals heading into Sunday's contest against Minnesota.
Chicago Sky coach Tyler Marsh caught wind of the news and wasted no time congratulating her star forward. The first-year shot-caller had four words for Reese via Instagram.
"Yes ma'am! Congrats 5!" he posted, sharing the Sky's announcement on Reese's All-Star nod.

Marsh deserves at least some credit for Reese's All-Star selection. The Sky are far from the best team in the WNBA right now — they enter Sunday's game against the Lynx with a 5-11 record and 12th in the league — but the fact that Reese has still been able to shine for Chicago has to count for something.
Reese will be the Sky's only representative for the upcoming WNBA All-Star Game in Indianapolis on July 19. It is worth noting that, depending on how All-Star captain Caitlin Clark drafts her squad, Reese and Clark could be on the same team yet again for a second consecutive year.
