Angel Reese did it again Monday night. The Chicago Sky star put up 22 points, 10 rebounds, three assists, and a block in a tough rematch against the Minnesota Lynx. Despite her impressive stat line, the Sky came up short.

But the real story isn’t just this game, it’s the streak. With this performance, Reese notched her ninth consecutive double-double, inching closer to breaking the WNBA record she set last season as a rookie.
Reese originally set the record at 15 consecutive double-doubles, surpassing the previous mark of 12 held by WNBA great Candace Parker.

Now, Reese is on the cusp of making history again.
This season alone, Reese has already racked up 15 double-doubles, including a triple-double. If she keeps it up, she could also challenge the WNBA single-season record, currently held by Alyssa Thomas with 28 double-doubles.
