The WNBA All-Star draft has officially concluded with captains Caitlin Clark and Napheesa Collier selecting their rosters on Tuesday.

After Clark made her official selections, many fans are talking about the reigning Rookie of the Year picking up two of her Indiana Fever teammates, Aliyah Boston and Kelsey Mitchell. However, others are focused on a different angle.

Clark decided to pass on drafting Angel Reese, a player who many view as the Fever guard's rival.

They were first pinned against each other in college when Reese took home the national title over Clark and Iowa in 2023, and the LSU star seemingly mocked Clark.

It's since exploded in the WNBA, with the Chicago Sky and Indiana Fever viewed as rival teams.

As Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese continue their separate careers, they will move on to the WNBA All-Star game as opponents yet again.

After the finale of the WNBA All-Star draft, some fans took to social media, sharing their thoughts on Caitlin Clark's decision to pass on Angel Reese.

"Soooo we not gonna talk about Caitlin Clark passing up on Angel Reese Twice ???" said one fan

"Caitlin Clark did everything not to take angel reese I didn’t know she weren’t rated like that," said another fan

"Caitlin Clark didn't choose Rhyne Howard or Angel Reese Those are the 2 WNBA players who she has beef with," mentioned someone else.

"Clark really passed on angel reese 7 times in a row," commented one fan

"I wonder if they’ll make a of Clark not picking Reese lol," said one fan

"Clark and Reese on opposite teams. Thank God," said another fan

Throughout her second season with the Indiana Fever, Clark — in limited game action since she's missed 10 games due to injury — has posted 18.2 points, 5.0 rebounds and 8.9 assists per game.

Angel Reese has also posted great numbers in her second season in the WNBA.

Reese leads the Chicago Sky with 12.9 rebounds per game and has also added 13.2 points per game.

Heading into the WNBA All-Star draft, Reese had five straight games with 15+ points and 15+ rebounds.
