Caitlin Clark returned to the Indiana Fever lineup, playing her former teammate with the Iowa Hawkeyes, Kate Martin.
Clark went against Martin and the Golden State Valkyries for the second time this season. After missing give games for the Fever, she returned to the starting lineup, but Indiana still managed to suffer an 80-61 loss.
However, before the game, Clark and the Valkyries were on the same page.
Clark met with Valkyries center Temi Fagbenle before the matchup. Fagbenle played with Clark last season, working through the hyped Fever season during the Indiana stars rookie year.
The two reunited before the game, exchanging some words and sharing a hug as former teammates in the WNBA.

Upon the release of the video, some fans took to social media, sharing their thoughts on the meeting between Caitlin Clark and Temi Fagbenle.
"Temi was a huge loss," said one fan.
"The fever has to get Tami back next year," said another fan.
"We miss her too!!!" mentioned one fan.
"Should have kept Temi instead of getting bonner for such a high price," commented one fan.
"Me too, Caitlin! Me too! A major loss," said one fan.
"We all miss Temi," said another fan.
Caitlin Clark finished her first game back from a groin injury with 10 points, five rebounds and six assists.
Temi Fagbenle capped off the win over the Indiana Fever with seven points, five rebounds and two assists.
Throughout her second season in the WNBA, Clark has averaged 18.2 points, 5.0 rebounds and 8.9 assists per game.
