The Indiana Fever revealed on Tuesday that their star guard Caitlin Clark will return to the lineup for Wednesday's matchup with the Golden State Valkyries.

Clark has missed the team's last five games, a period in which the Fever went 3-2 and captured the Commissioner's Cup Championship over the top-ranked Minnesota Lynx.

Wednesday’s game isn’t the only thing on fans’ minds after Tuesday’s practice, however.

The Fever also posted a short video on X showing Clark sharing the court with a young fan, using a tiny football to thread deep passes and showcase her pinpoint accuracy, drawing immediate reactions from fans online.

"Is there any sport Caitlin is naff at..," said one user.

"Could be QB1 in Indy. Give me CC over Anthony Richardson!" Another fan responded

"Not much this great athlete can’t do," one other commenter replied.

"Effortlessly too, mind you," another fan commented.

"My quarterback or whatever it is y’all say," said one other fan

"Joe Burrow and her fighting for qb1," replied another user.

"I swear if she leaves Conner for @Daniel_Jones10 I’m going to be outraged," quipped one other fan.

Despite missing more than half of the Fever's games this season, Indiana has managed to stay afloat.

The team currently holds a 9-9 record, which is good for third place in the Eastern Conference and middle of the pack in the league standings.

Under coach Stephanie White, the Fever have combined a balanced attack, averaging 84.1 points per game on offense (fifth in the WNBA) with a stingy 79.1 points allowed defensively (fourth), tied for the fourth-best point differential (+4.9) in the league.
