A new Boston Red Sox trade proposal suggests landing a 40-home run Atlanta Braves slugger as a potential replacement for Jarren Duran.

It'll be simple for the Boston Red Sox entering the trade deadline if they plan to buy.
If the Red Sox are going to spend money and move prospects, they first have to go out and add to this lineup.
Many times throughout the year, the Red Sox’s offense hasn't done what it needed to do.
However, when searching for ways to improve that, Boston.com recently linked them to an intriguing name in the form of Marcell Ozuna of the Atlanta Braves.
“One of the reasons why the Red Sox traded Rafael Devers was to open up the designated hitter spot. However, Mastaka Yoshida’s expected return this week means the Red Sox will have even more of a logjam in their outfield as the team plays musical chairs there and at designated hitter.
“So, a move for Ozuna, who has exclusively been a designated hitter for the last two seasons, would likely have to come with another trade. But acquiring a hitter of Ozuna’s caliber could be worth it — if he gets out of the slump he’s been in over the last month. Ozuna has hit just .171 with a .518 OPS since June 1, making him one of the worst hitters in baseball as of late,” they wrote.
As they touched on, Ozuna hasn't exactly been great this year, but he's coming off two seasons in which he hit 39 and 40 home runs.
If he can return to form for the Red Sox in that regard, they'd be in a great position to make a push in the second half.
