Reese posted 16 points, 17 rebounds, and six assists against the Lynx, extending her streak of games with 15 or more rebounds to five—the longest in WNBA history.

Her dominant stretch through June and into July led to a major announcement Monday, as the Sky officially named her their “Player of the Month.”

Throughout the month, Angel Reese averaged an impressive 13.9 points, 12.7 rebounds, and 4.5 assists per game for the Sky. On the season, she’s currently posting 12.6 points, 12.8 rebounds, 3.9 assists, and 1.6 steals per game, while shooting 40.9% from the field and 79.7% from the free-throw line.

Additionally, on Sunday, Reese was named a WNBA All-Star for the second consecutive season, earning a reserve spot after being selected No. 7 overall in the 2024 draft. She’ll have the opportunity to be drafted on July 8 by either Caitlin Clark or Napheesa Collier, who are serving as team captains for this year’s All-Star Game.
