It has been an underwhelming offseason thus far for the Golden State Warriors as they have yet to make a move in free agency.
Golden State entered the summer looking to upgrade their roster around their star trio of Stephen Curry, Jimmy Butler and Draymond Green but they have yet to make any major moves.
Of course, the Warriors drafted Alex Toohey and Will Richard in the second round of the 2025 NBA Draft but those are the only moves they have made thus far.
Golden State is still awaiting a decision by restricted free agent Jonathan Kuminga and they have also been linked to Boston Celtics champion center Al Horford.
While the Warriors are still looking to upgrade their roster, one of their former players found a new home on Monday.
On Monday, it was reported that James Wiseman is signing with the Indiana Pacers to upgrade their frontcourt after Myles Turner’s departure to the Milwaukee Bucks in free agency.

Wiseman was the second overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft by the Warriors and while he had high expectations entering the NBA, he has yet to live up to them.
The 24-year-old center spent his first two and a half seasons with the Warriors before they traded him to the Detroit Pistons during the 2022-23 season.
After a season and a half in Detroit, Wiseman was signed by the Indiana Pacers last offseason before tearing his Achilles in the first game of the season last year, eventually leading Indiana to trade him to the Toronto Raptors who then waived him.
Now Wiseman will return to Indiana next season where he will fight for a backup center spot on a team that enters the season as a potential contender in the Eastern Conference, though they will be without Tyrese Haliburton due to a torn Achilles.
For Wiseman, this new opportunity is a major one for him as he gets another chance to live up to the hype that surrounded him instead of being known as a draft bust.
