The latest WNBA news shows something concerning about a 3-time WNBA All-Star.
Concerning News Emerges on 3-Time WNBA All-Star This Week originally appeared on Athlon Sports.
The Phoenix Mercury are having a solid season, as they're currently 12-6 and are in second place in the Western Conference. During the offseason, the Mercury made some big changes to their team, adding stars such as Satou Sabally and Alyssa Thomas to the roster after losing key pieces such as Diana Taurasi and Brittney Griner.
They haven't shown any signs of slowing down, and they've been one of the better teams in the league this season.
The big 3 of Sabally, Thomas and Kahleah Copper have been dangerous, and when they're all on the floor together, good things seem to happen. Unfortunately, one of them may be sidelined in their upcoming games.
Sabally is dealing with an ankle injury, and she was seen with a boot on her right foot. Head coach Nate Tibbetts said that Sabally is considered day-to-day with the injury, and her status is out for their game against the Dallas Wings on Monday.
Sabally did not participate in the most recent practice with the Mercury.

In their last game against the Wings, Sabally took a few hard falls, so it's not that shocking that she's dealing with injuries right now. The hope is that the injury isn't serious and that she's able to return to the court as soon as possible.
Sabally has had a strong season for the Mercury, as she leads the team with 19.1 points per game and 7.7 rebounds per game. She was recently named to the All-Star team for the third time in her career.
