Carson Beck Over 197.5 passing yards

-114 at FanDuel

Andrew Caley is bullish on Miami Hurricanes quarterback Carson Beck airing it out against a rock-solid Indiana Hoosiers defense, saying:

"Indiana’s defense is excellent, but Beck operates behind an elite offensive line, and the Hurricanes boast a Top-10 passing offense.

Beck has eclipsed this number in 11 of 15 games, including both of Miami’s losses, while Indiana allowed Oregon’s Dante Moore to throw for 285 yards in the Peach Bowl blowout."

Malachi Toney Over 59.5 receiving yards

-114 at FanDuel

Taking Malachi Toney to clear his receiving yards prop correlates nicely with Beck having a big day passing the pigskin.

"The freshman wideout has peaked at the perfect time, helping power the Hurricanes to the National Championship Game by hauling in 45 catches for 445 yards and six touchdowns over his last six games," Caley writes.

Fernando Mendoza Under 15.5 rushing yards

-114 at FanDuel

Douglas Farmer isn't exactly fading Indiana QB Fernando Mendoza, but he isn't bullish on his scrambling ability, especially against this elite Miami front.

"A quick reminder that yards lost to sacks count as negative rushing yards for the quarterback in college football. Ohio State took down Mendoza three times to cost 10 yards, Penn State also managed three sacks for 17 yards, and even Wisconsin dragged down an Indiana quarterback five times to lose 29 yards.

Miami’s defensive line is the best among them. Akheem Mesidor and Reuben Bain Jr. lead the way with 19 combined sacks, on a defensive front that has logged 13 sacks in three College Football Playoff games, accounting for 85 yards."

Omar Cooper Jr. Over 45.5 receiving yards

-114 at FanDuel

With Mendoza's ground game in question, Farmer likes the QB to take to the air, which will benefit WR Omar Cooper Jr., particularly with top receiver nursing a lingering hamstring injury.

"Remove a catchless performance against the best passing defense in the country, the slog of a Big Ten title game against Ohio State, and Cooper’s numbers have jumped to 4.2 catches per game for 47.2 yards and six touchdowns in six games."
