After 36 holes, just about half are advancing to the weekend, while the rest are booking flights home.

The best outing by a LIV golfer so far this week is Tyrrell Hatton, who's tied for fifth. Lee Westwood, who got in via final qualifying, is next in a tie for 12th. There were 11 golfers who made the cut.

How does it feel to be in contention once again in a major?

"I didn't really think about it, to be honest," Westwood said. "No, I'm just enjoying playing one of the greatest courses in the world in one of the greatest championships. I wasn't thinking it."

Bryson DeChambeau also made the cut after a dreadful start to his week. He shot 78 on Thursday but rebounded with a 65 on Friday.
