Real Madrid have been active in the transfer market, with Trent-Alexander Arnold, Alvaro Carreras, and Dean Huijsen all joining the La Liga giants, as well as a few other names.

The most notable exit of the window for Real has been Luka Modric, who has joined AC Milan.

Modric is now orchestrating a potential transfer of his former teammate to join him in Italy.

Who does Modric want to join him at AC Milan?

Modric is hoping that Fran Garcia will join him at Milan, according to reports out of AS.

With Carreras joining the club, Garcia will likely be pushed down the pecking order, and his agent has spoken with Milan about a move.

Modric has already endorsed Garcia, having played with the left back and believing in his talents.

The Spaniard started all six of Real's Club World Cup matches and was a regular under Carlo Ancelotti.

The 25-year-old will be wanting regular playing time though, and Milan could be the best place for him to secure a starting spot.

Milan are in the market for both a left and right back, but the club is monitoring several other options. The Italian side does not want to spend more than  €30m on both transfers combined.
