Clark and the Fever took on the Sun on Tuesday night, another matchup in a rivalry that has brewed between the two squads.
Coming off a 13-assist, five-steal performance in a win over the Wings, Caitlin Clark is back for a second straight game for the Fever in a matchup against the Sun on Tuesday night.
Indiana and Connecticut have had a rivalry brewing recently. In their last matchup, tempers flared several times and there were multiple ejections.
So, another meeting between the two squads, with the WNBA All-Star break approaching, likely had a closer eye from the referees this time around. Clark was also seeking her first 20-point game in nearly a month, dealing with an ongoing cold shooting streak.

At halftime of Tuesday's game, Clark was having a somewhat modest performance by her standards, making two of her five shots. She did add in a steal and four assists, and Indiana took a 44-42 lead into the break.
Clark was tracking to have her seventh consecutive game with fewer than 20 points, a cold spell that's come along with some poor shooting from 3-point range. However, 12 points from Natasha Howard were enough to give the Fever a halftime lead.
