A little bit of everything.
LeBron James was in the house on Saturday to watch his son Bronny James play for the Los Angeles Lakers at Las Vegas Summer League.
The second game in Vegas was a bit better than the first for Bronny and ended in a win, although it still showed there's plenty of good and bad to Bronny's game.
We can start with the good. Bronny scored 14 points and shot 4-for-6 inside the arc, doing solid work getting toward the basket. He also dished out three assists in 24 minutes.
Bronny's defense might be his calling card, and that showed, too, as he snagged two steals and blocked a shot.
The negative came in efficiency. Bronny shot 1-for-5 from 3, which won't be good enough from a 6-foot-2 guard. He also turned the ball over four times compared to his three assists, not ideal for someone who is the size of a point guard.

Bronny was the only one of the Lakers' five starters to have a negative plus-minus rating in a game they won by 13 points. He was negative-3.
It's clear there's still work to be done, but it's also obvious that Bronny has some promise, too. The Lakers will just have to keep being patient with him.
