Angel Reese's stardom on and off the court has been unprecedented.
Reese came into the league as a star and has since grown to be one of the biggest names in sports, especially in the women's basketball scene.
The Chicago Sky forward's stardom was recently highlighted with an announcement from the NBA2K production. Reese has been revealed as the WNBA edition cover athlete for NBA2K26.
After the news was released, the Sky made a gesture toward Reese. They displayed Angel Reese's official NBA2K26 shirts at the stadium, seemingly showing support to the WNBA star who is currently playing in her second season with the team.

While Angel Reese was announced as the cover athlete for the WNBA edition, Oklahoma City Thunder star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Carmelo Anthony also graced the cover in various editions of the video game.
Gilgeous-Alexander recently led the Thunder to an NBA title and Anthony played 19 years in the NBA, ending his career as a six-time All-NBA member and a 10-time All-Star.
The Chicago Sky ultimately defeated the Minnesota Lynx, upsetting the No. 1 team in the WNBA, 87-81. They have now won two straight games, having recently defeated the Dallas Wings.
In the Sky's win over the Lynx, Reese posted 19 points, 11 rebounds and four assists.
Heading into the matchup against the Lynx, Reese was averaging 13.3 points, 12.8 rebounds and 3.8 assists per game for the Sky.
