It has been an underwhelming offseason thus far for the Golden State Warriors as they have yet to make a move in free agency.

Of course, the Warriors entered the offseason looking to upgrade their roster around their star trio of Stephen Curry, Jimmy Butler and Draymond Green, but that has not been the case thus far.

Golden State did add two players in the second round of the 2025 NBA Draft as they selected Alex Toohey and Will Richard.

In free agency, the Warriors have been linked to multiple players, most notably Boston Celtics champion Al Horford, but they have yet to make a move as they continue to await a decision by restricted free agent Jonathan Kuminga.

While the Warriors have yet to make a move in free agency, moves are expected to be made, likely after Kuminga makes his decision, and Golden State has recently been linked to a star guard from the Phoenix Suns.

According to KEN 5’s Jeff Garcia, the Warriors have been rumored to be a potential landing spot for Bradley Beal if he is bought out by the Suns and becomes an unrestricted free agent.

For the Warriors, adding Beal would be a solid addition to their roster next to Curry in the backcourt, though Brandin Podziemski is expected to be the starting shooting guard next season.

Of course, Beal has struggled with injuries over the last handful of seasons but he is still a great scorer who could be a solid fit alongside Curry and Butler in the starting lineup or possibly of the bench in Golden State.

Despite this, Golden State may elect to hold off on pursuing Beal due to his injury history and he may not want to sing with a team unless they promise him a starting spot, which may not be the case in The Bay.

Either way, Beal is expected to draw interest from multiple teams if he hits the free agent market this offseason.
