She's done it again.
Angel Reese Makes Chicago Sky History Against Dallas Wings originally appeared on Athlon Sports.
It was a historic night for the Chicago Sky on Wednesday as they hosted Paige Bueckers and the Dallas Wings at Wintrust Arena. The franchise chose July 9th as the day to retire a jersey for the first time.
Three-time All-Star Allie Quigley took this honor after the 39-year-old officially retired earlier this year. At halftime on Wednesday, the Sky raised Quigley's No. 14 jersey in the rafters. From this point forward, no other player can wear the No. 14 shirt for the Sky.
It wasn't just Quigly who made history on Wednesday night, though. Angel Reese also rewrote the record books by marking yet another career milestone. According to Polymarket Hoops on X, Reese is the second-youngest player in Sky franchise history to score 700 career points.

Reese achieved her historic milestone after scoring six points in the first half, to go along with four rebounds. The 23-year-old helped lead Chicago to a 37-45 advantage at the break.
While she did not have her jersey retired by her team, it was also an incredible day for Reese on Wednesday. Reebok officially unveiled her first signature shoe, the Angel Reese 1, which is slated to release "soon."
Additionally, it was announced that Reese will be one of the cover athletes for NBA 2K26, alongside Shai Gilgeous-Alexander of the 2025 NBA Champions Oklahoma City Thunder, and Hall of Famer Carmelo Anthony.
Reese matched her big day off the court with another historic feat on it. She will now be looking to lead Chicago to their first win in three games, as they hope to take down Bueckers and the Wings.
