The Oklahoma City Thunder have filled up another two-way spot. They have reportedly signed Branden Carlson to a two-way deal, per ESPN's Shams Charania.

After he went undrafted out of Utah in 2024, Carlson signed with the Toronto Raptors on a two-way deal. He spent the offseason with them until he was signed on a standard deal by the Thunder in November 2024. After he was waived, he signed a handful of 10-day contracts with OKC.

Carlson was then added on a two-way deal in February 2024. He'd go back and forth between the Thunder and the G League's OKC Blue. Entering this offseason, OKC tendered a two-way qualifying offer to the 26-year-old that he's finally signed.

The Thunder have two of their three two-way deals occupied by Brooks Barnhizer and Carlson. This will allow both players to be active for 50 NBA games in the 2025-26 season. Both players are also on OKC's 2025 Summer League squad.

Carlson averaged 3.8 points and 1.7 rebounds. He won an NBA championship with OKC. The 26-year-old is a 7-foot stretch big. He dominated on the Blue as a shot-blocker. He has interesting tools to make it worth the Thunder's time to bring him back for another season.
