The WNBA All-Star Draft took place on Tuesday, where team captains Caitlin Clark and Napheesa Collier picked players for their respective teams. It's one of the highly-anticipated events of the 2025 season as it will gather all the best players in the league for one event.

First, the two captains drafted their starting lineup. Clark had the first pick and did not waste time in making sure her Indiana Fever teammate, Aliyah Boston, was on her side. The two-time All-Star also selected Sabrina Ionescu, who's averaging 18.9 points on 33.8% shooting from deep for the New York Liberty. She followed that up by drafting the league's reigning MVP, A'ja Wilson of the Las Vegas Aces.

To complete her team's starting lineup, Clark drafted Satou Sabally of the Phoenix Mercury with her fourth pick.

Sabally was voted as an All-Star starter, marking the third selection of her career. Her first two selections were back with the Dallas Wings, the team that drafted her with the second pick in 2020.

This season, Sabally is having her best scoring run. The star forward is averaging 19.1 points, 7.7 rebounds and 2.6 assists on 39% shooting from the floor. The former Oregon star has scored at least 20 points ten times this season. She's never finished a game where she didn't finish at least double digits in scoring.

This is only her first season with the Mercury, but she's already making a significant impact. Together with veteran star Alyssa Thomas, who ended up getting picked by Collier, they've led the team to a 13-6 record.

The All-Star Game this season will be on July 19 at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana.
