The 2025 NBA Summer League is in full swing this summer, and it will run through July 20.

A ton of prospects will be able to get their first taste of playing at the professional level, and all eyes are set on the first overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft, Cooper Flagg.

Flagg and the Dallas Mavericks will play their first game of the summer as they take on Bronny James and the Los Angeles Lakers on July 10.

As the Summer League isn't quite the same as the official NBA season, Flagg isn't expected to get a heavy workload, but the 18-year-old phenom will get a fair share of playing time in the coming weeks.

Mavericks Summer League head coach Josh Broghammer was able to give the media some answers on what to expect from Cooper Flagg this summer.

"We will take it day-by-day. Once we get out to Vegas, kind of figure out the schedule, and see how he does starting with the Lakers and then kind of go from there," Broghammer said, according to ClutchPoints' Joey Mistretta.

"You know, putting him in those uncomfortable spots. Having him handle the ball. We had him guard the ball in practice, we had him guard the bigs. Putting him in different positions where we can see what he can do and then go from there."

Flagg was an all-around dominant forward for the Duke Blue Devils in his only season in college.

He led Duke to an ACC championship as well as going all the way to the Final Four in the NCAA Tournament.

In 37 games, Flagg averaged 19.2 points, 7.5 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 1.4 steals, and 1.4 blocks for the Blue Devils in 2024-25. That stat line was good enough to lead Duke in all four major categories for the entire season.

Flagg will join a Mavericks Summer League roster that's highlighted by other names like Ryan Nembhard, Melvin Ajinca, and Maxwell Lewis in their pursuit for the Summer League championship.
