Tigers Fans Express Concern for Riley Greene After Eventful Warning Track Catch vs. Twins

The Detroit Tigers took on the Minnesota Twins in the Twin Cities on Thursday night in an AL Central battle for positioning in the standings. Detroit Tigers left fielder Riley Greene (31) rounds the bases and celebrates after hitting a two-run home run against the Minnesota Twins in the fourth inning at Target Field.

Greene appeared slightly shaken as he laid on the ground after the surprising catch.

He also appeared to be bleeding from his right forearm which caused Benetti and Dirks to comment.

"He needs a cut man," Benetti said, appearing to make a boxing or MMA reference.

"He broke a scab open," Dirks said, later clarifying, "He broke a scab open from the one in Philly (Philadelphia)."

"Please get my goat checked out," one fan said as they shared a still frame of Greene's forearm.

"He is bleeding...Someone call Fieger Law!" another fan said with a laughing, crying sideways face emoji, referencing the Detroit based law firm that specializes in injury settlements.

"Buxton just got ROBBED by Riley Greene! And Riley is dripping blood from his arm. Get a bandage on that!" another fan said.

Another echoed Greene's attitude toward his bloody forearm with a classic .GIF from a famous Monty Python movie while others extolled him for his 'Gold Glove' caliber defensive skills in the outfield.
