RB Braylon Toliver – Erie (CO): August 22

Toliver and the Erie Tigers are set to begin their season on August 22 against Brighton (CO). Erie is projected to win 42-7. One of the top teams in Colorado, Erie is ranked No. 10 in the state and a top-900 nationally.

WR Cynai Thomas – Archbishop Riordan (CA): August 30

Cynai Thomas and Archbishop Riordan won’t start their season for another two weeks, as the Crusaders will begin their season on August 30 against McClymonds. Archbishop Riordan is ranked as the No. 67 team in California and a borderline top 1,200 team nationally.

WR Malcolm Watkins – Frontier Tigers (CA): August 22

Future Beavers’ wide receiver Malcolm Watkins and the Frontier Tigers will be taking on Oakridge next weekend. Frontier is projected to lose 36-12 in that matchup. The Titans are considered the No. 70 team in California and a top-1,300 team nationally.

DE Adel Dorr – Issaquah (WA): September 12

The Issaquah Eagles and star defensive end Adel Dorr won’t begin their 2025 campaign for almost another month on September 12 against Olympia. Issaquah is ranked as the No. 73 team in Washington and a top-5,000 team nationally.

LB Lance McGee – Sumner (WA): September 5

After transferring to Sumner, Lance McGee and the Spartans will begin their 2025 season on September 5. Sumner will face off against Lake Stevens in that matchup. The Spartans are ranked as a top-five team within Washington and a top-800 team nationally.

Kai Wheaton and the Allen Eagles will start their season in two weeks on August 29 against Midland Legacy. Allen is a heavy favorite next week and will be in almost every game they play this season as the No. 8 team in Texas and a top-50 team nationally.

S Truly Bell – Pittsburg (CA): August 29

Truly Bell and the Pittsburgh Pirates (not those Pittsburgh Pirates) will take on Granite Bay on August 29. Pittsburg is a heavy favorite in the game, which isn’t too surprising considering the Pirates are ranked as the No. 21 team in California and a top-300 team nationally.

Purnell will look to lead one of the top teams in California and the country this fall. The Lincoln Hornets, ranked as the No. 12 team in California and a borderline top-75 team in the country, will begin their season next Friday against the Hawaii program Punahou.
