Paige Bueckers had a forgettable evening on Monday as the Dallas Wings suffered an embarrassing 102-72 road loss to the Phoenix Mercury.
The former UConn star finished with just 11 points on 3-of-11 shooting, to go along with two rebounds, three assists, a block and one triple.
It is also worth noting that Bueckers played a season-low 24 minutes against Phoenix, which is way below her average of 35.4 minutes per contest entering Monday's game.
While the lack of playing time is likely attributed to the blowout nature of the matchup, as well as the team's busy schedule — Dallas plays two games in three days — some fans could not help but feel worried after seeing a video of Bueckers from the loss.
At one point in the first quarter, the 6-foot guard took a hard fall after getting her lay-up attempt blocked. Bueckers appeared to hit her head on the hardwood as she fell.

"i hope she's ok i am going to put myself in concussion protocol by slamming my head into the wall if she's not," a comment on X read.
"Yeah she got hammered after the block hope it didn’t lead to anything with her head 🙏🏾🙏🏾" another said.
"Sat out most of the game. Hope she doesn’t have another concussion," a fan wrote.
"how is that not a foul, bro? she almost took Paige’s head off 😭" a reaction read.
"Pleeeease not another concussion," said another.
"Shoulda been a foul. More concerning is seeing Paige take a hard hit to the head—especially considering she suffered a concussion just last month," a user posted.
As indicated by a couple of the above reactions, Bueckers missed three games earlier this season due to a concussion. This is precisely why there's considerable cause for concern among supporters.
The silver lining, though, is that there is no news of a potential concussion for Bueckers after the game. She also remained in the contest after her hard fall, and it didn't appear to bother her in any way.
