The Oklahoma City Thunder received an interesting projected win total for next season after their championship run.

The Oklahoma City Thunder are fresh off a dominant season that they were able to cap off by winning the championship in seven games over the Indiana Pacers.
It was a historic season for the Thunder, especially on the defensive end, as they won their first title since relocating to Oklahoma City.
Of course, the Thunder have one of the best young cores in the NBA led by MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Chet Holmgren and Jalen Williams and they are built to be a title contender for years to come.
Due to this, they enter next season as one of the championship favorites as they try to win back-to-back championships, which would be the first time a team has done so since the Golden State Warriors accomplished the feat in 2017 and 2018.
With this in mind, ClutchPoints Betting recently released their projected win totals for the 2025-26 season and Oklahoma City’s is an interesting one.

Last season, Oklahoma City won 68 games, which was the most in the NBA, though they are projected to not win as many next season despite bringing back most of their rotation, including adding a few new players to the mix.
Of course, the Thunder draft Thomas Sorber in the first round of the draft and while they have not made any moves in free agency, they have enough assets to pull off almost any trade they want ahead of next season if they choose to do so.
Due to this, the Thunder are projected to be the best team in the NBA once again next season by ClutchPoints Betting as they attempt to capture another championship.
While that may be the case, many things can happen between now and next season as other teams around the NBA are still making moves to upgrade their roster this summer to challenge the Thunder for a championship next season.
