West Virginia will open the Charleston Classic against Clemson according to a report by Jon Rothstein.
The Mountaineers will take on the Tigers Nov. 21 and then take on either Georgia or Xavier Nov. 23. Rothstein cited multiple sources with an official announcement expected soon.
The Charleston Classic is played inside TD Arena in Charleston, South Carolina.
West Virginia is in the first season under new head coach Ross Hodge and the non-conference schedule features this event along with a neutral site contest against Wake Forest in Charleston Dec. 6 and another in Cleveland against Ohio State Dec. 13. The Mountaineers also will take on Pittsburgh at home Nov. 13.
