Angel Reese Suddenly Linked to Additional Career Outside of WNBA

Angel Reese may have a new career soon.

Angel Reese Suddenly Linked to Additional Career Outside of WNBA originally appeared on Athlon Sports.

There may not be a player in the WNBA as business savvy as Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese, and she proved that again on Wednesday.

When the 23-year-old forward isn't busy averaging 14.2 points and 12.6 rebounds per game on the court, she is frequently making headlines for her ventures off the court.

Whether it be becoming one of a handful of WNBA players who have a signature shoe, or capitalizing on the phrase "Mebounds," which started off as a joke about her, but made her six figures days after she turned it into merchandise, Reese is no stranger to the spotlight.

However, while she has starred in a McDonald's commercial before, Reese may be lobbying for a new role in the television space.

Angel Reese Possibly Interested in Joining Popular Netflix Show

A couple of days ago, Reese took to X to share with her fans that she was enjoying Netflix's "The Hunting Wives," a show based on a book that is loaded with drama and mystery. As a result of her support, the show's executive producer, Rebecca Cutter, reached out to Reese and thanked her for supporting what is now the No. 1 show in the United States.

Not only did Reese see her thank you post, but she even offered her services for the second season as she looks for a distraction while she recovers from a back injury.

"just let me know if you need me for season 2 😉," wrote Reese.

When Will Angel Reese Return From Injury?

Reese has missed the Sky's last three games and seems to be in line to miss a fourth on Thursday when they host the Atlanta Dream. When Sky head coach Tyler Marsh was asked to provide a timetable for the former LSU star, he expressed that he wasn't able to at this time.

"There isn't a concrete timetable as to the extent that I know," Marsh said." It's the back injury and she continues to be day-to-day."

The Chicago Sky Need Angel Reese as Season Continues to Worsen

The Sky have the third-worst record in the WNBA at 8-21, and without Reese in the lineup, they have posted a record of 1-5.

Depending on the severity of the injury, the Sky can also opt to shut her down for the season, as only the top eight teams in the league make the playoffs, and as each loss piles on, the Sky get further and further from that mark.

Fans would love to see Reese return, but considering the Sky may not be playing for anything but pride when she comes back, it's hard to tell if it'd be worth it.
