Bad news for Angel Reese.

The Chicago Sky and Atlanta Dream are set for a matchup, courting some of the top players in the WNBA.
Chicago stars Angel Reese and Kamilla Cardoso while the Dream have been led by Allisha Gray, Brittney Griner and Rhyne Howard all season.
Howard has missed ample time with an injury, but the Dream have still found success, riding a three-game win streak before playing the Sky.
While Atlanta works through their injury issues, Chicago has also been hit.
Angel Reese has been working through a back injury and unfortunately has been officially ruled out for the team's next matchup against Brittney Griner and the Atlanta Dream, per release.
The Sky will play the Dream on Thursday at 8 p.m. ET.

Ariel Atkins – QUESTIONABLE (Leg)
Hailey Van Lith – PROBABLE (Ankle) #Skytown
In the latest injury report before the Atlanta Dream game, the Chicago Sky also revealed that Michaela Onyenwere, Ariel Atkins and Hailey Van Lith are also listed as questionable or probable for the matchup.
Van Lith is working through an ankle injury while Atkins deals with a leg injury and Onyenwere, a knee injury.
Reese has played two games since the WNBA All-Star break.
Throughout her second season in the WNBA, Angel Reese has posted 14.2 points, 12.6 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game for the Chicago Sky.
Reese leads the Sky in average rebounds and is one of Chicago's top scorers.
The two-time All-Star has had yet another successful season with the Sky, much like Caitlin Clark for the Indiana Fever, but the injury bug has hit the young stars recently.
Clark has played 13 games, working through various leg injuries.
