Major League Baseball announced the final rosters for both the American and National League All-Star teams on Sunday as early games were completed across the league.
Each team is comprised of 32 players including 20 position players and 12 pitchers. Reserves were also included on Sunday after previous announcements focusing on the starters, who were voted in via fans.
Following the announcement, fans took to social media to voice their displeasure as many felt key players were left out of this year's game, which is set to take place on Tuesday, July 15 at Truist Park in Atlanta, home of the Braves.
"2025 MLB All-Star Game Rosters," ESPN wrote on X Sunday afternoon with a gold star emoji.
The finalized list included many surprise selections that brought out the complaints from baseball fans on X.
"No Seiya is insane," one fan said about the Cubs' outfielder and designated hitter who is hitting .261 with 24 home runs this season in the Windy City.
"Where can I go to complain about this?" another fan wrote.
"$765 million and (Mets outfield Juan) Soto isn't even an All-Star Reserve lmao," another wrote of Soto, who has hit .263 with 20 home runs.

"They be letting everyone in these days," another added with a yawning emoji.
Another fan thought the Detroit Tigers were robbed after they landed three players on the American League team's starting lineup.

"Who picked these teams? Awful," another said.
"See absolutely no All-Stars," another fan said.
"Love these rosters...Gonna be a good season," a rare approving fan said in the comments.
