While the Los Angeles Dodgers have one of the best rosters in baseball, there are still areas to improve. One of those areas is in the outfield, specifically, replacing Michael Conforto.

However, according to Noah Hiles of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, one of their top trade targets might not be available. And not in the way that they'd normally be.

Hiles reports that outfielder Bryan Reynolds, one of the Pittsburgh Pirates' trade candidates, might not be on the move. He has a six-team no-trade clause, which, unfortunately, impacts the Dodgers.

"Reynolds, who is under team control through the 2031 season," Hiles writes, "Features a six-team no-trade clause in his contract, meaning he has made it clear he would not approve a deal to certain locations."

As one could guess, the Dodgers are among the six teams Reynolds would refuse a trade to. The New York Yankees, New York Mets, Toronto Blue Jays, San Francisco Giants, and the San Diego Padres are also on his no-trade clause list.

Fortunately for the Dodgers, despite missing out on Reynolds, their top competition in the NL West also won't get the chance to land him either.

The two-time All-Star has had some strong years in his career. At 30 years old this season, it's been a bit of a struggle. He has a .235 batting average, a .301 on-base percentage, a .389 slugging percentage, and a .690 OPS.

While he hasn't been at his best this season, he's previously been a solid hitter. He hit at least 24 home runs in every season since 2021, and other than the 2020 season, Reynolds had at least a .790 OPS.

But 2025 hasn't been great, and he's struggled all year. Even with those struggles, teams would likely be interested in the former All-Star. The potential he's shown in the Majors is real, and if a team could 'buy-low' on him amid his rough start, they could be landing a nice reclamation project.

The Dodgers, however, aren't going to be that team. Los Angeles will have to look elsewhere for a Conforto replacement, as Reynolds has no interest in joining the Dodgers.
