One of the most discussed topic this summer in the Real Madrid circles has been the future of forward Rodrygo Goes.
The Brazilian international lost prominence in the team towards the end of Carlo Ancelotti’s tenure and his situation did not improve under Xabi Alonso at the FIFA Club World Cup.
As such, a summer departure has been heavily talked about, with the Premier League being touted as his next possible destination.
Teams like Arsenal, Liverpool, and Tottenham have recently been linked heavily with a move for Rodrygo.
Manchester City not interested in Rodrygo
However, as reported by COPE, Manchester City have no interest in signing Rodrygo this summer despite having pursued him in the past.
It must be noted that the Cityzens were heavily linked with the 24-year-old attacker last summer, following the arrival of Kylian Mbappe at Real Madrid.

Nothing came of it in the end, although Rodrygo has since gone onto admit that he admires Pep Guardiola’s side a great deal.
“Manchester City is the best team in the world, the one that plays the best football,” he had stated in an interview with GQ.
There had been reports of a meeting between the player’s father and the Premier League giants earlier this year as well.
Despite the shared admiration between the player and the club, at the moment, Manchester City have zero interest in signing Rodrygo this summer.
As far as the player’s future is concerned, Real Madrid have slapped a price tag of €100 million on the forward.
Thus far, the Spanish capital heavyweights have not received any offers for the former Santos wonderkid while the player himself has not asked to leave the club either.
