Barcelona sensation Lamine Yamal stole the spotlight in their second pre-season friendly, a high-scoring 7-3 win against FC Seoul.
After going goalless in the match against Vissel Kobe, Yamal made headlines by scoring his first goals while wearing the iconic number 10 shirt. It was a special moment not just for him, but for all Barcelona fans watching the birth of a new era.
“Scoring a goal in this shirt, with the number 10 on my back, is a dream,” said the 18-year-old after the match, visibly proud and emotional. “I’m very happy to score and for the team’s victory.”
Yamal’s moments of brilliance
It is to be noted that the match started with a near miss from Yamal in the 8th minute when his shot hit the post.

However, Robert Lewandowski capitalised on the rebound to open the scoring. Just minutes later, in the 14th minute, Yamal recovered the ball himself, made a clever solo move and found the net, his first official goal in the number 10.
Yamal wasn’t done. Right before the half-time whistle, Dani Olmo delivered a perfect pass into the box. Yamal took full advantage, beating his defender with a slick dribble and smashing the ball into the top corner with his left foot.
It was a goal that had class, confidence, and quality. After a brilliant first half, Yamal was subbed off, making way for Rooney Bardghji, another exciting talent in the squad, who scored against Vissel Kobe, but not before leaving a strong message that he is ready for more.
“We are very grateful to you [South Korea] and hope that this season will be successful and that we will win many titles,” he concluded.
