Victor Osimhen set to undergo medical with Galatasaray
It’s now just a matter of time: Victor Osimhen is on the verge of making his move to Galatasaray official.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the Nigerian striker is expected in Istanbul on Wednesday evening, ahead of his medical examination on Thursday, July 31, as part of a transfer estimated at €75 million from Napoli.

After a phenomenal season on loan with the Turkish champions—netting 37 goals and providing 8 assists in 41 appearances across all competitions—Osimhen has convinced the Istanbul club to break the bank, despite competition from Al-Hilal, who had offered a higher salary. Galatasaray will pay €40 million up front, with the remaining €35 million to be paid in installments through 2026. The deal also includes up to €5 million in bonuses and a 10% resale clause in favor of Napoli.
This transfer will go down as one of the biggest deals in Turkish football history and will bring to a close four years of collaboration between Victor Osimhen and Napoli.
