See who will be enshrined in Rockland's Athletic Hall of Fame this fall.
Rockland High School is proud to announce the Athletic Hall of Fame Class of 2025, celebrating an extraordinary group of athletes, coaches, and contributors whose achievements and dedication have left a lasting impact on Rockland athletics and beyond.
This year’s inductees represent a wide range of sports and accomplishments, from state champions and national standouts to influential coaches and community leaders.

The 2025 Hall of Fame Class includes:
Tyler Gibson (Class of 2013)
One of the most decorated athletes in Rockland history, Tyler was named the 2012–2013 Massachusetts Boys Basketball Gatorade Player of the Year, Mr. Basketball by the Massachusetts Basketball Coaches Association, and the Boston Globe Division 3 Player of the Year. He also earned All-State honors from ESPN Boston and was named to the Boston Herald Dream Team. On the track, Tyler was the 2013 State Champion in both high jump and triple jump. He continued his basketball career at Bentley University.
Terrence Gibson (Class of 2011)
A dominant force in track and field, Terrence captured multiple state titles, including the 400m hurdles (2010), 110m hurdles (2011), long jump (2011), and 4x100 relay (2010 & 2011). At Worcester State, he became one of the greatest hurdlers in Division III history as a four-time NCAA All-American, National Champion, and record holder in the 60m and 110m hurdles. His times remain among the fastest ever in Division III.
Jeanine (Reale) Reardon (Class of 1988)
A standout student-athlete in soccer and basketball, Jeanine went on to become a highly accomplished coach with over 20 years of experience at both the high school and youth levels. A graduate of Bridgewater State University, Jeanine has earned 15 MSAA State Championships as head coach of the Rockland High School Cheerleading Team, while remaining a vital leader in Rockland's athletic community.
Brian Harrington (Class of 2011)
A two-sport standout in football and wrestling, Brian was a Patriot League and SSL All-Star, and a Shriners Game selection in football. At Stonehill College, he set school and conference records with 151 tackles in a single season, ranking among the top in Division II nationally. As a senior captain, he was named to the Dan Hansen Division II All-America Second Team and received All-America Honorable Mention honors.
Glenn MacKinlay (Class of 1979)
A multi-sport star at Rockland and 1,000-point scorer at Massachusetts Maritime Academy in basketball, Glenn also excelled as a pitcher in baseball. He went on to serve as an assistant U.S. attorney for the District of Massachusetts, receiving two Attorney General’s Awards, the US Marshals Service Law Enforcement Officer of the Year, and multiple national recognitions for his work in justice and public service.
Kyra Rose (Class of 2016)
A prolific scorer and leader for the Rockland girls basketball team, Kyra tallied 1,268 career points and was a four-time South Shore League All-Star and four-time Brockton Enterprise All-Scholastic. A two-time SSL Player of the Year and three-year team captain, Kyra averaged 19.5 points per game as a freshman at Fitchburg State University, continuing her standout basketball career at the collegiate level.
Trish (Geary) Madsen (Class of 1987)
A standout soccer player at Rockland, Trish continued her career at Plymouth State, contributing to a Final Four appearance. She has become a highly respected coach at Dighton-Rehoboth Regional High School, earning multiple South Coast Conference Coach of the Year honors, conference championships, and state tournament appearances.
James Patton (Honorary Inductee)
A beloved educator and coach at Rockland High and John W. Rogers Middle School, Jim made a lasting impact on generations of students. He coached boys and girls varsity soccer and cheerleading, leading teams to state championships in both sports. Jim’s legacy is one of mentorship, dedication, and service to the Rockland community.
A. Scott MacKinlay (Honorary Inductee)
A towering figure in Rockland athletics and education, Lt. A. Scott MacKinlay served as a teacher, coach, athletic director, and principal of Rockland High School from 1969 to 1995. A Boston University graduate and U.S. Army Veteran, he held leadership roles in numerous state athletic associations, including the MIAA, and was a founding member of the Rockland Education Foundation. His lifelong commitment to Rockland’s youth continues to inspire.
