According to a report from La Provence, Olympique de Marseille have reached a full agreement with Dutch club Feyenoord over the transfer of Igor Paixão (25), overtaking Premier League side Leeds United in the process for the player. The Brazilian winger has reportedly been authorised to travel to Marseille to complete a medical.Earlier today L’Équipe reported that Les Olympiens were preparing a new bid for the winger, with Leeds United threatening to swoop for Paixão, sending an offer to Feyenoord worth €32m plus bonuses. The Ligue 1 side had seen two offers worth €16m and €28m rejected by the Dutch club, but it seems the third has met Feyenoord’s valuation – which was initially at €35m.OM have been looking to find a replacement to Luis Henrique on the left side of their attack, after the Brazilian signed for Inter Milan early during the transfer window. Les Phocéens have already signed Angel Gomes from Lille, alongside Burnley’s CJ Egan-Riley and Lens’ Facundo Medina to shore up Roberto De Zerbi’s defence. Meanwhile a return for striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is expected to be completed in the next week.GFFN | George Boxall
