Report – Inter Milan Reluctant To Offer Over €45M To Close Deal For Atalanta Forward

Inter Milan remain hopeful of signing Atalanta star Ademola Lookman, but will reportedly only agree to terms that suit them.

According to La Repubblica via FCInterNews, the Nerazzurri will not meet La Dea’s €50 million asking price.

Despite boasting a genuine interest in Ademola Lookman, the Serie A runners-up are unwilling to break the bank.

Indeed, they had initially earmarked €40 million for landing the 27-year-old.

However, after Atalanta rejected their opening bid, they’re ready to revise their offer.

While Atalanta continue to insist on their valuation, Inter have other plans.

Indeed, they will not eclipse the €45 million mark.

As for Atalanta, they’re still hoping to force the Nerazzurri to include several bonuses in the deal.

That way, they would see their €50 million matched.

However, Inter remain firm on their stance, preferring a €40 million upfront fee with €5 million in add-ons.
