Chelsea legend John Terry has said that he now wants to see Liam Rosenior play different to former head coach Enzo Maresca.

Many Chelsea fans have been criticising the style of play that Rosenior plays already, saying it is just a carbon copy of the negatives around how Maresca played. Although the Italian had won many Chelsea fans over come the end, hence why some of them ended up being very annoyed that he left, there was still many Blues fans out there complaining about how he setup and played, doing things such as inverting full backs and playing Reece James as a midfielder, as well as moving the ball too slow and not playing direct enough.

All of these things are now being done under Rosenior still. It seems that Terry has picked up on that as well, and says that he wants to see a difference in this now that the English coach has had some time to settle in and get his ideas across.

Terry was previewing Chelsea’s game against Crystal Palace on his TikTok, and in quotes picked up on X, he said:

“I want to see a little bit of change from Enzo Maresca’s team to Liam’s team in the next few weeks when he does get a bit more time to work with a group. But the most important thing at the moment, especially in the London derby, is to pick up the three points.”
