MC Alger travels this Sunday to face Saint Éloi Lupopo, in a crucial clash for the third matchday of the CAF Champions League group stage (2025-2026 season).

Still searching for their first win in this phase, the Algerian football representatives have only managed to collect a single point from their opening two games.

Mouloudia started with a defeat against Sudan’s Al-Hilal (2-1), before settling for a goalless draw with Mamelodi Sundowns (0-0).

On the other side, Saint Éloi Lupopo enter the fixture with similar ambitions. The Congolese side are also winless, having lost to Sundowns (3-1) and drawn with Al-Hilal (1-1), making this encounter a must-win for both teams.
