Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes didn’t wait long to bring in a potential replacement for the outgoing Jordan Seaton, landing a commitment from Cal OT Leon Bell to fill that void.
The 6-foot-8, 330-pound offensive tackle comes to Boulder after playing five years of college football elsewhere. Bell started his collegiate career at Kilgore Community College in Texas, where he rose to become one of the highest-rated recruits out of the JUCO level in 2021 and 2022. After entering the portal following his sophomore season, Bell committed to Mississippi State, where he played in 66 offensive snaps during his two seasons with the Bulldogs in 2023 and 2024. Before last season, Bell transferred to Cal, where he started 10 games for the Golden Bears before losing his starting spot in November.
He comes to Boulder with one season of eligibility remaining and is a beneficiary of the Diego Pavia ruling.
Welcome to Boulder, Leon!
