The 36 former Georgia Bulldogs in the NFL playoffs

Georgia football could nearly have an entire roster of players that made the NFL playoffs. The Dawgs have both the NFL's rushing and passing leader

An impressive 36 former Georgia Bulldogs players have made the NFL postseason, which begins on Saturday, Jan. 10. That number does not include Seattle Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald, who graduated from Georgia and coached under Mark Richt.

Thirteen of the NFL's 14 playoff teams have at least one UGA player on their roster. The Denver Broncos are the only NFL playoff team without a former Dawg. The defending Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles have the most former Bulldogs on their roster with seven, so they are a popular team for Georgia fans to root for in the postseason along with the Green Bay Packers, who have six former Dawgs.

The NFL's Wild Card round gets underway this weekend with at least one Georgia player on the roster of every team playing. When it comes down to impact, Buffalo Bills running back James Cook was the NFL's leading rusher and Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford was the NFL's leading passer. Stafford is 37 and is pursuing a second career Super Bowl. Los Angeles Chargers receiver Ladd McConkey set an NFL playoff record in his postseason debut a year ago, so we're excited to see what he'll do along with the other former Bulldogs in the playoffs.
