Crystal Palace have completed the signing of Everton midfielder Hayley Ladd on and two-and-a-half-year deal.
The Eagles announced the news via a post on their official club website this morning.
The 32-year-old experienced midfielder moves to South London after spending the last 12 months with Everton. Ladd previously enjoyed a five-and-a-half-year spell with Manchester United where she won an Adobe Women’s FA Cup and helped the club to challenge at the top end of the Barclays Women’s Super League table. The midfielder has also turned out for Arsenal, Kokkola Futis 10, Coventry City, Bristol and Birmingham City in her long career.
On the international stage, Ladd has been capped by Wales on 111 occasions while she has scored three goals for her country.
The midfielder will now be hoping to help new club Crystal Palace to continue their recent good form and challenge for an immediate promotion back to the Barclays Women’s Super League.
After joining Crystal Palace, Ladd said “Yeah, it feels amazing. I’m so glad to be here.
“It’s obviously a club that I’ve admired for a long time, so I’m thrilled to be here and ready to get started.”
Ladd is Crystal Palace’s first signing of the January transfer window.
