Midfielder Ryan De Havilland has joined League Two strugglers Bristol Rovers, from Peterborough United, becoming the club's first signing under new head coach Steve Evans.
The 24-year-old has signed a two-and-a-half-year contract and drops down a division for an undisclosed fee after making only two appearances for Posh this season.
De Havilland said the move was "the right thing for me right now" and that he would do his best to help Rovers get back "to where it should be."
Evans described De Havilland as "hungry to succeed" and "having shown a real desire" to join his team.
Rovers are currently 20th in the table, only four points above the relegation places.
