Havoc bring home Joe Stroud Memorial Yellowhammer with 8-0 thumping of Bulls

The Huntsville Havoc thumped the Birmingham Bulls 8-0 Friday night.

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — The Huntsville Havoc thumped the Birmingham Bulls 8-0 Friday night.

With the win, Huntsville brought home the Joe Stroud Memorial Yellowhammer.

The Joe Stroud Memorial Yellowhammer honors the life and legacy of Joe Stroud, a respected and influential figure in Alabama professional hockey whose impact spanned both the Havoc and Bulls organizations. 

Stroud died in June 2025.

The Havoc have won five of their last six games and are back in first place in the SPHL.

The team travels to Pelham Saturday night for another match-up with the Bulls. Puck drop is set for 7 p.m.
