- In a semi-surpising move, the Marlins signed closer Pete Fairbanks to a one-year, $13M deal.
- The Mets have reportedly agreed to a contract with right-hander Mike Baumann, though as of this writing it is not known whether it’s a minor league deal or a big league signing.
