Chelsea defender Mamadou Sarr could be returning to former club Strasbourg on loan for the 2025/26 season.
The teenager originally signed for the Blues on an eight-year contract from Strasbourg last month and made his debut as a second-half substitute in Chelsea's Club World Cup win over Espérance de Tunis.
After that brief cameo, Sarr could spend next season away on loan back at Strasbourg, who are of course part of BlueCo.
Journalist Fabrizio Romano has reported that Strasbourg have managed to expertly agree a deal with its sister club to take the player back on loan for the 2025/26 club with Le Racing looking to improve on their seventh position last season.
