Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese has followed up her strong rookie year with another impressive campaign during the 2025 WNBA season. The second-year forward is averaging career-highs with 14.0 points and 3.8 assists, and her 12.6 rebounds also lead the league.

Last week, Reese was selected to her second consecutive WNBA All-Star team, as she was named a reserve once again. She was drafted by Minnesota Lynx star Napheesa Collier, so she is slated to play for Team Collier in the event on Saturday.

However, she missed the Sky's game against the Atlanta Dream on Wednesday due to a leg injury of undisclosed nature. This change in status caused fans to question her availability for the All-Star Game.

While no official announcement has been made about whether or not Reese will participate, signs have pointed toward her being available based on Sky head coach Tyler Marsh's update.

Before Wednesday's game against the Dream, Marsh spoke to the media and clarified that Reese being out against Atlanta was more preventive than anything else.

"Angel's more precautionary," Marsh said about her absence, via Sky reporter Karli Bell.

If Reese were to miss the All-Star Game, she would not be the only star to do so. Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark, Phoenix Mercury forward Satou Sabally and Dream guard Rhyne Howard have all announced they will miss the event due to injury.

The All-Star Game will take place on Saturday, July 19, at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana, home of the Fever. Tip-off is scheduled for 8:30 p.m. ET.
