She was hyped.

Caitlin Clark needed her teammates to step it up on Tuesday night after she was ruled out from the Indiana Fever's Commissioner's Cup championship game against the Minnesota Lynx.

Clark was unable to recover from a lingering groin injury, which forced her to sit out for a third consecutive contest. The Fever, however, turned in a concerted effort to upset the defending champs, 74-59, en route to winning their first Commissioner's Cup title in franchise history.

One of the players on the squad who came to play was Sophie Cunningham, who came off the bench to register a season-high 13 points on 4-of-6 shooting, seven rebounds and an assist in 26 minutes of action.

Cunningham also went 3-of-5 from beyond the arc as she proved how much of a threat she is from distance. There's no denying, though, that her biggest triple came deep in the fourth quarter.

Cunningham knocked down a clutch trey with a little over four minutes remaining in the game. That shot gave the Fever a 12-point advantage, which would turn out to be too big a lead for the Lynx to overcome.

Clark can also be seen celebrating Cunningham's big three in the WNBA's X post. The Fever superstar could barely contain herself as she high-fived Cunningham and the rest of her teammates who were making their way to the bench after a Lynx timeout.

That was, without a doubt, one of the biggest plays of the night, and Clark's excitement at that moment shows just how special this Fever team really is.
