Cooper Manning gets trolled!

Why is Arch Manning's dad being trolled? originally appeared on Athlon Sports.

Cooper Manning must have had the best intentions when he flew down to Austin from New Orleans just to help his son, Arch Manning, with his SEC Media Day outfit. But after the Texas Longhorns QB appeared on the coveted event, his father's efforts were hilariously trolled.

During the Wednesday episode of 'Andy & Ari', On3 analyst Andy Staples dug into Manning's outfit and how it came about. As revealed by the Longhorns QB himself, Arch called up his father, confused about what to wear for his SEC Media Day appearance.

Staples notes how that is a funny revelation because "Arch Manning was wearing a navy blazer, khakis and a repp tie — so essentially, the uniform of every frat boy from every university."

Co-host Ari Wasserman quipped, "Like what did he (Cooper) do, just go to the SAE house and borrow his friend's clothes? " He added, "That was the most southern outfit I've ever seen."

For those who missed the endless social media posts, here's the fit the two analysts couldn't stop talking about:

Despite the trolling, Staples accepted that there's a reason why Cooper went for this classic combination. The On3 analyst acknowledged that the trio of navy blazer, khaki pants, and repp tie "always looks good."

But was there a need to fly down to Austin? The jury is out. Staples pointed out that since Arch is slowly getting assimilated into his adult life, his father is making sure that no matter what the requirement is, he's there for the Longhorns QB.

Wasserman, on the other hand, pointed out how Cooper knows his son's going to go be in the NFL in a couple of years, and that ends any kind of 'regular days' with his dad.

Manning went viral for attracting a swarm of cameras despite having played just 2 games in his college career. His take on the Heisman Trophy hype was also received well by college football fans.

But he's staying stoic and not giving in to the hype. He believes all the people hyping him up are only making sure he has to go prove himself because he thinks talk is cheap.
