The Warriors are reportedly working on a deal for this free agent.
Warriors Expected to Add Steph Curry’s Brother Amid Jonathan Kuminga Drama originally appeared on Athlon Sports.
As the Warriors continue to navigate a quiet offseason, a familiar name is emerging as a potential addition to their roster: Seth Curry. The 34-year-old sharpshooter is a free agent and remains unsigned, even as teams like the Knicks, Lakers and Warriors reportedly search for shooting help.
Golden State makes plenty of sense. The Warriors finished just 16th in the league in three-point shooting percentage last season, despite having arguably the greatest shooter in NBA history in Stephen Curry.
Adding Seth, who led the league in three-point percentage among players with at least 150 attempts last season at 45.6 percent, would give the Golden State a much-needed boost from deep. He also ranks second among active NBA players in career three-point shooting percentage at 43.29 percent, just ahead of his brother (43.32 percent).
Seth is well aware of the chatter. In a recent interview from the American Century Championship, a celebrity golf event, he smiled when asked about the possibility of teaming up with his brother.
While Steph and Seth Curry teaming up in the NBA has been a fantasy, the reality of it happening makes a lot of sense for the Warriors, @MontePooleNBCS writeshttps://t.co/aLqSgDPSUZ

“They play a good brand of basketball,” he said. “I feel like I’ve been a part of Dub Nation for a while, watching Steph and being around the organization… I’ve always embraced the Warriors and their system and love the way they play. And you never know what can happen.”
Doc Rivers, Seth’s father-in-law and coach of the Bucks, even told "The Bill Simmons Podcast" that Golden State would be “the perfect place” for him.
The Warriors are reportedly in wait mode as they assess restricted free agent Jonathan Kuminga’s future. The 22-year-old forward has been involved in trade rumors, but there is growing speculation he could remain in Golden State. Once Kuminga’s situation is resolved, the Warriors could look to finalize their roster.
If Seth Curry is still on the market at that point, the reunion many fans have dreamed of might just become a reality.
