The Auburn Tigers have not had much success under head coach Hugh Freeze, entering the 2025 season with an 11-14 record.
Two of the teams that Freeze has especially struggled with are the Alabama Crimson Tide and the Georgia Bulldogs.
However, on a recent episode of "See Ball Get Ball with David Pollack," David Pollack believed either Auburn or the Tennessee Volunteers could be a "potential problem" for the Bulldogs.
Pollack thought that both games being on the road for Georgia would make things tough for the Bulldogs.
Freeze has a combined record of 0-4 versus the Crimson Tide and Bulldogs with the Tigers.
"Here's where I see a potential problem," Pollack said. "You got at Tennessee at Auburn. Like both of those teams, really good teams, really good atmospheres. I think one of those are going to be really, really tough to get."
Auburn's last win against Georgia was in the Gus Malzahn era, back in 2017. The Tigers beat the Bulldogs 40-17 at Jordan-Hare Stadium, only to lose to them in the SEC Championship Game 28-7 later that season.
The results have not been there for Freeze, but he has been able to recruit well, until recently. Auburn had top-10 classes for 2024 and 2025 via On3 Sports, but has lost a lot of recruits in the 2026 class.
One of the recent flips for Auburn was four-star receiver Denairius Gray to the Kentucky Wildcats. Auburn's 2026 class ranks No. 66 overall after the recruiting struggles as of late.
Freeze addressed the Tigers' approach to recruiting and the transfer portal, stressing that the program was playing the long game with Pollack on a recent episode.
Auburn faces the Baylor Bears in its season opener on August 29.
