Aliyah Boston has been phenomenal for the Indiana Fever in her third season in the WNBA.

The Fever star has taken another step forward in cementing herself as one of the best forwards in the league, growing her game on both ends of the floor.

As Boston works through her third season in the league, she was honored in one of Indiana's road games. Before the Fever played the Connecticut Sun on Tuesday, the state of Massachusetts honored July 14 as "Aliyah Boston Day."

Boston was born in Saint Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, but attended high school at Worcester Academy in Massachusetts.

After the news was announced, Fever coach Stephanie White spoke on Boston's big day, sharing high praise for the Indiana star.

"The impact that she’s made on young girls and boys and, you know, her ability to lead, on the floor and off the floor and impact community," White said. "She's a giver. She's a leader and it was really incredible the way that they honored her yesterday and we were happy to be a part of it."

Aliyah Boston has been one of the best players in the women's basketball landscape over the past several seasons. Before playing for the Indiana Fever, Boston played for the South Carolina Gamecocks from 2019 to 2023.

During her time at South Carolina, Boston helped leads the Gamecocks to a national title and a Naismith College Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year.
